Scrapbooking Printable: Valentine Journaling Cards
Art & Illustration Printables & Downloads

I've been using the Project Life/pocket pages system of scrapbooking for a little over a year now, and I really enjoy it. It's a really simple and fun method of keeping my photos printed and organized, and, as Tony says, it makes memory keeping into a baseball card collecting game. Fun, right?
The only issue with Project Life is that I don't always find cards and supplies that fit into my aesthetic, so I decided to create my own. With my love of red, pink, and hearts, Valentine's Day seemed like the perfect occasion to jump onto the designing bandwagon.

When the weather starts to cool off, I always get in the mood for hand stitching and felt. There's just something so cozy about working with my hands like that.
Tiny objects are best for hand stitching, so I decided to make my Blythe doll a few capes to wear. I made the pattern into a PDF so you can try it, too.
Embroidery Tutorial: Duplicate Stitch

Today I'm sharing a tutorial for a special stitch to add embroidered elements to knit fabric. You can, of course, use traditional embroidery techniques with knitwear, but traditional stitches do not have the same stretchiness that knitted fabric has.
Enter the duplicate stitch. This is a stitch that essentially duplicates the knitted stitches, giving you the look of knitted color work. The stitch is easy to learn but can give you lots of creative options.
