This has been a stressful month for everyone, and I'm no exception. It's been rough being stuck at home during this quarantine, and the financial uncertainty so many of us are facing makes it difficult to focus on anything.
I've been trying to keep busy, and art is a great way to do that. It's been interesting to see how my mood shows up in these pieces and how they evolved over the month.
I had a lot of fun playing with fantasy elements this month. First up is a little Corgicorn with an adorable tush. This is my second Corgi design, since I just couldn't resist drawing one with a fluffy butt and cutie-pie toe beans. Plus, we all need more unicorns in our lives, right?
I have a ton of little comic ideas bouncing around in my head, and it's been a dream of mine to make comics since I was a kid obsessing over the X-Men. Then I realized that all it takes to make that dream come true is to actually sit down and draw those comic ideas, already. So here's the first one!
It's been a month with some ups and downs for my artwork. Some pieces turned out just the way I wanted them, while others feel like flops. But that's how things go when making art!
